Hi All... I've been brainstorming a saas idea and wanted to get any feedback. I feel like the typical lead magnets (pdfs, eboks) are not as valuable as people think. They are generic. What if there was a way to make them more personalized? I'm thinking about buildint a saas where businesses/creators can use AI to personalize lead magnets/files based on user responses in a form. So, businesses would set up templates and train the AI, then the system would personalize the content for each user, and sent it via email. This is only a very rough idea, which I need to validate.. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!Winter and EVs are Brutal
On Sunday knowing that a storm was coming I charged our 2025 MY AWD LR to 100% at a SC about 4 miles away. I drove about 24 miles until this morning, when I had an 100-mile round trip to make Woke up to -15f today, it was about 0f most of yesterday. After using Max Defrost (couldn't open the doors as they were frozen shut as was the charging port). The car sat at 40% charge (after 24 miles) In the one month we've had the car we've driven 2050 miles and have burned through 1024 kWh. I do precondition the car. I don't speed. Because of the free SC I've been charging at the local SC which has been nice since our local electric rate is .33/kWh (SC charges .45). There are some good reasons to drive an EV, cost per mile (especially during winter) isn't one of them.

The sentiment I've always heard from the right about this goes something like this: *That person was only hired because they're [insert minority here], not because they're qualified, and it must be nice to get special treatment, but I need co-workers that are there because they deserved the job*. Nevermind that it's a moral failure, and that clearly nobody wants to be treated this way. The true price of discrimination from a human resources perspective is that it limits the pool to a *NOT-MERIT-BASED* criterion, instead favoring one that succumbs to human stupidity. DEI is **not about giving minorities jobs they don't deserve**. It's about making sure underqualified people aren't taking jobs that *they don't deserve* just because they're *not* being discriminated against as a matter of course. DEI operates under the assumption discrimination *will* exist, that there are often better qualified people in minority groups, and that natural human proclivities will necessitate these rules so that those with the merit get the job. The fact of the matter is everybody is at least a little bit biased. If you're a human being, that's just how your brain works naturally. It takes actual effort to muddle through the mental heuristics that make us draw quick assumptions about people, and come to a decision based on the facts instead of what we assume. Not everybody has the same IQ to do that well, or at all. Some people who just benefit from the descrimination don't care because it lowers competition, and we're all worse off for that too.
